Nokona has built its reputation on its legendary Walnut Leather. Now made with our proprietary Walnut HHH Leather™ which provides greater stiffness and stability. Once this glove is worked in, this glove is soft and supple, yet remains sturdy - a true, classic Nokona.
* Please be aware that there is no coloring in laser branding, the contrast will be greater on lighter colored leathers.

I am 67 years old. My first glove back in the 50's was a Nokona. It was purchased in a small town in northern Maine. My brother, a lefty, also had a Nokona but his was a first baseman's glove. My brother has passed away, and I have his glove to remember him. My glove was an infielders model w short fingers. Unfortunately, I misplaced my glove after I purchased another glove for my playing days at Limestone High School. I am breaking in my "last Nokona" this month as I help with a local American Legion team. It has served me well so far. I hope to pass it on to one of my grandsons when my "playing days" are over. Thank you for still making these gloves in America.
